MY STORY

From Frustrated Customer To Founder

I want to take a moment to thank every beautiful human being who has taken the time to grace my page with their presence — whether it was by accident or with full intention, YOU’RE HERE!
My name is Cecelia, but everyone calls me Cece or Cii. I’m a 37 year old mother of a feisty 4 year old daughter and a sweet, tender 16 month old boy. Nails have been my passion for as long as I can remember.
I have vivid memories of watching my stunning aunt — the one everyone called a model, and by society’s standards, she was. Perfect hair, clear skin, straight white teeth and the most beautiful smile that could light up a room and grab the attention of everyone in it. Personality to match. She was tall, legs longer than ever, slim and always dressed like she’d just stepped out of a Vogue magazine. Makeup always done and NAILS ALWAYS LONG, perfect and making a statement.

Her, her friends, my other aunt, my mom and my cousins were legit the IT girls. I yearned to be them one day.
I would help my mom hang laundry outside in the 90s and use the wooden clothespins to clip them onto my fingertips, pretending they were long glamorous nails. I’d strut up and down the backyard like I was on a runway — all while they cut off my blood circulation and my fingers turned purple ALL FOR THE LOVE OF FASHION! Those memories still make me cackle.
Then it went from clothespins to duct taping nails on (which looked HORRIBLE, by the way), to my mom letting me use glue tabs (no better lol). But when I got my first set of dramatic duck nails done at 16, I never looked back My senior pictures? Four inch long, three inch wide duck nails covered in rhinestones. But the point is — I felt confident and proud. A proud member of the Class of 2008, Northampton High School. Best senior class to this day!
Now, at 37, my nails are still always done — but being a mom gave me a new drive: to find an affordable way to still feel like myself, with just as much confidence, without breaking the bank. Realistically, I couldn’t keep up with $145 full sets from the Instagram nail techs (no shade — their work is stunning), it just didn’t make sense for me.
So I went searching for quality and financial sustainability without giving up the styles that represented me and were part of my identity. I tried all kinds of acrylic press-ons online, and I kept noticing the same things — prices almost as high as a professional full set, trash quality, and barely any range of styles for teens, young women, moms and mature women working all kinds of different jobs.
So I kept researching. And I put these nails through everything — because I’m a rough one. I wash dishes, I’m a stay at home mom, I’m changing diapers, brushing hair, chasing babies, wrestling toddlers, fixing things around the house, building bed frames — all of it. And I finally found a company with nails that were sustainable, affordable and actually worked with every part of my life.
That’s when I knew I didn’t just want to be a customer — I wanted to be part of it. So I partnered with that company and put my personal touch on every single style, so that every woman who comes to this page can find a set she’ll fall in love with. If not one set, then I guarantee at least ten — and she’ll save money doing it.
They’re reusable as long as you take care of them. You don’t have to give up the part of your femininity that makes you feel good and confident — no matter what your finances look like, what job you have, or how many kids you’re chasing. You can still feel good, look good and do it all without breaking the bank. That was my goal.
I hope these nails give every single person who purchases a set the confidence to remember who they truly are deep down — and to tackle every day like the powerful, smart, beautiful individual they are. Every time you catch a little glimpse of your nails, I hope you’re reminded that you are a boss and a baddie, and you better not ever forget it. You are polished and you are posh.
